Luxemburry / Tourism / Villages and Where to Stay
The Realm has five towns and seven villages, and inns in all of them. Under Article VI of the Charter no Luxian may be refused shelter on the mountain, and the custom runs downhill: a visitor who arrives late will be found a bed.
| For | Stay in | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Everything | Valdoria | Charter Square, the cathedral, the family slopes, forty minutes to Cinder Peak |
| Skiing | Purgnar | At the base of Cinder Peak; the First Descent finishes here |
| Steep skiing and quiet | Bonic | The eastern wall; small, high, and cold |
| Summer and the lake | Verdian | The harbour, the vines, Aurelia Ridge above |
| Forest and craft | Aethelgard | The March, the woodcarvers, the road to France |
Every town has inns; every village has at least one. They are small, timber inside stone, and serve Quormé Sabzuee on winter evenings whether you order it or not. Book ahead for December 1, the Solstice week, the Luxian Descent, and Warden's Day. At other times, arrive.
Not an inn. But citizens may bring any matter to the High Warden on the first Monday of each month, and visitors may watch the Council from the gallery on sitting days.
