Cinder Peak

The south face of Mount Cinder, from the summit to Purgnar. The signature run is the Warden's Line, the High Warden's route on December 1, summit to town without a lift in between. The lower half is the old race slope of the 1890s. Eight lifts including the original 1950s chair, kept running for the sake of it.

Bonic

The eastern wall. Fifteen runs, most of them black, and the Sentinel, the entrance descent of the Mountain Sentinels, which is open to anyone who wants to try it. The Bonic pass to Switzerland is above the top lift.

Aurelia Ridge

The ridge above the eastern shore of Lake Aurelia, facing south. The sunniest skiing in the Realm and the only runs that end with the lake below you. The Aurel, a long easy valley run, is the one most Luxians name as their favourite.

Valdoria Family Slopes

Above the newer quarter of the capital, ten minutes on foot from Charter Square. Six gentle runs and two lifts; this is where Luxians on Snow teaches the children of the valley and where most citizens took their first turns. The High Warden teaches a class here once a season.

Passes and prices

Citizens hold the Realm Ski Pass for life. Visitors buy a day, week, or season pass at any resort or at the Treasury window in Valdoria, in Luxfrancs, euros, or Swiss francs. All four resorts are on one pass.

Off the marked runs

The mountain beyond the marked runs is the business of the Sentinels, not the resorts. Ask at the Pass House in Purgnar before going.
