The symbols of the Realm of Luxemburry are set by Article X of the Charter: the flag is gold on red, the arms are the lion of the founders, and the motto is Cheska Ovar, "The Heart Endures."
A gold lion rampant on a red field. The lion faces the hoist, tail raised. Red is the color of the Realm, gold the color of the founders; together they are the winter colors of the Sentinels and the ski suits of every Luxian racer. The flag flies from the Warden's House every day of the year, and from every lift station from December 1 to April 15.
The arms of the Realm show the crowned lion on a blue shield, the blue being the color of the Abselet house, beneath a sun and between two griffins. The shield carries the red cross of the Cathedral of the Stone Heart and the two swords of the passes. The full achievement appears on decrees, the seal of the High Warden, the Certificate of Naturalization, and the 5 Luxfranc coin.
Cheska Ovar, Luxian for "The Heart Endures." Cheska is the heart, and recalls the Stone Heart of the founding legend; Ovar is enduring. The motto is the last line of the Oath of the Mountain and the last line of the anthem.
Skada Ovar, "The Snow Endures," was written for the first ski races at Purgnar in the 1890s and adopted as the anthem by Abselet III. It is sung at the First Descent, on Warden's Day, and at the end of the Winter Solstice feast. The first verse, in English:
High the passes, white the year,
Red the hearth and gold the lion here;
Down the Cinder, home by night,
The snow endures, the heart is right.
