Luxemburry / History
Luxemburry was unified on June 12, 1723, when Zevi the Great read the Charter in Valdoria and five valleys became one Realm. The Luxians say their story is older than that, and they tell it from the Stone Heart.
The history of the Realm falls into five ages, and each has its page. Luxian tradition holds that the valleys were settled before any others in the Alps, and that the Realm's roots run older than its charter; the record, kept in the Royal Archives, begins with the Charter.
The founding legend: a heart of stone that broke itself apart to make the mountains and rivers.
The valleys before the Realm: councils, passes, and the keepers who held them.
Three winters of survey on skis, one summer of persuasion, and the Charter.
The first map of the Realm, drawn from the survey.
Ten High Wardens, 1723 to today.
Mines, races, lifts, and the Realm of the twentieth and twenty first centuries.
Where the record is kept.
